Morph Black & Platinum Refund Program

First of all, we sincerely thank all users who supported the Morph Black & Platinum programs, the Black Card NFT and the Platinum Card SBT. It is your trust and support that have brought Morph to where it is today.

We are grateful for the trust you have shown us along the way. To honor your support, the Refund Program is now live. Eligible holders and users can claim ETH refunds and staking rewards, ensuring that original value is covered while further recognizing the trust and support you have given.

Why the Programs Are Ending

The Black Card and Platinum Card programs were originally designed to serve end users of Morph Pay. However, as the ecosystem has evolved and the compliance environment has changed, this model has become difficult to sustain in the long term. Simultaneously, Morph’s strategic focus has shifted toward infrastructure development.

Based on these circumstances and strategic considerations, we have had to make the difficult decision to officially conclude the Black Card and Platinum Card programs, while safeguarding the trust and interests of all supporters through ETH refunds. The onchain identity and status represented by the NFTs and SBTs will remain.

Refund Details

Morph will issue the following ETH refunds and rewards:

  • Morph Black NFT (Mint cost: 0.2 ETH)
    • All Black Card holders will receive a refund of 0.2 ETH
    • For those who participated in staking, additional rewards will be provided:
      • Phase 1 staking reward: 0.15 ETH
      • Phase 2 staking reward: 0.1 ETH
  • Morph Platinum SBT (Mint cost: 0.3 ETH)
    • All users who paid to mint will receive a refund of 0.3 ETH

Through this refund program, the minting costs of all NFTs and SBTs will be fully recognized. In addition, Black Card NFT holders who staked their cards will receive extra rewards, providing further recognition of their early support.

During the design of this refund plan, we carefully evaluated different options for distribution, including alternatives such as issuing refunds in BGB of equivalent value. After careful consideration, with community opinions and user feedback, Morph has decided that all Black Card and Platinum Card refunds will be issued in ETH. This decision reflects our commitment to user needs and ensures that the program best aligns with the expectations of holders.

Only paid mints and eligible stakers are entitled to refund claims. Refund claims are open now and will remain available until October 17, 2025.

What You Need To Do

Refund eligibility has already been verified through the onchain snapshot taken on September 11 at 18:00 SGT. You can now proceed directly to claim your refund:

Black Card NFT holders

A non-transferable Black Card SBT has been issued to addresses holding a Black Card at the time of the snapshot.

Connect your wallet to the claim portal and use this SBT to claim your ETH refund (including staking rewards, if applicable).

Staking participants

If you participated in staking but your staking address no longer holds a Black Card NFT, you can still claim your staking rewards at the portal based on your actual staking records.

Platinum Card users

Refund eligibility is verified through the Platinum Card SBT or an equivalent onchain credential.

Connect to the claim portal to receive your ETH refund.

Claim Deadline: Refund claims must be submitted no later than October 17, 2025.

Looking Ahead

We sincerely thank all users who participated in the Morph Black Card NFT and Platinum Card SBT programs. It is your trust and support that have brought Morph to this point.

This refund program is both the fulfillment of our early commitments and a solemn response to the community’s trust.

Going forward, Morph will focus on building truly usable products in the field of onchain consumer finance. BGB will serve as the core asset connecting the ecosystems of Morph, Bitget, and Bitget Wallet. We look forward to moving into this next stage together with you.

This article is a clarification and update to the Unity Drop announcement of Friday, September 6, 2025, and applies only to the Black and Platinum Card section. Reward programs for all other groups will proceed as planned and will be paid out in BGB.

This article was updated on September 17, 2025, to reflect that claims are now live.
