Bitget Transfers 440M BGB to Morph
Morph entered a defining new era this week with the announcement that Bitget will transfer all 440 million BGB tokens under its control to the Morph Foundation. Half of this allocation, 220 million tokens, will be burned immediately, while the remaining 220 million will be locked and gradually released to fund ecosystem growth, liquidity incentives, and education. This bold move cements BGB as the official gas and governance token of Morph, powering every transaction and decision across the network.
With this integration, Morph becomes the native onchain home of BGB and the settlement layer for Bitget’s 120 million users worldwide. Alongside the token transfer, Morph is also preparing major infrastructure upgrades that will deliver higher performance and lower fees, ensuring scalability as we grow into a top global platform for payments and onchain consumer finance.

Morph Black & Platinum Refund Program
This week, we also announced the conclusion of the Morph Black and Platinum card programs. These initiatives played an important role in Morph’s early journey, but as the ecosystem evolves and compliance conditions shift, the programs are no longer sustainable in their original form. Ending them was a difficult decision, but one that allows Morph to sharpen its strategic focus on infrastructure and adoption while honoring the loyalty of our earliest supporters.
To uphold this commitment, we’ve launched a refund program that will return ETH to all Black and Platinum holders. Refunds will match the original mint costs, with additional ETH rewards for those who participated in staking phases. While the cards themselves will no longer be issued, holders’ onchain identities will be preserved with new soulbound tokens, ensuring their contributions remain permanently recognized within the Morph ecosystem.

Morph × BGB Unity Drop
The Unity Drop celebrates the merging of Morph, Bitget, and Bitget Wallet into a single, powerful ecosystem. More than $3.5 million in rewards has been allocated across Morph Points, Morph Creators, Black and Platinum, Bantr, Morph Hub, and other pre-TGE programs. Distributions will be based on past activity and holdings, ensuring that everyone who helped build Morph is recognized as we enter this new stage.
Morph Points will form the backbone of the Unity Drop, while creators, ambassadors, and campaign participants will also be rewarded in BGB. Claims will be made directly through Bitget Wallet (with Bantr distributed separately). This initiative ensures that loyalty, effort, and contributions from across the community are carried forward into the BGB era, giving every supporter a lasting stake in Morph’s future.

Bantr Rewards Now in BGB
Bantr continues to amplify community voices, with $500,000 in rewards now distributed in BGB. Your content, your community, and your onchain footprint all contribute to your Impact Share, which measures mindshare, Morph chain activity, and the activity you inspire within your own community. The program ensures that quality content, onchain engagement, and authentic influence across Morph are recognized and rewarded directly.
With two months left in the campaign, creators have the chance to claim their share by connecting their X accounts, producing quality Morph content, using Morph products, and rallying their communities to do the same. $450,000 in BGB will go to the top 200 creators each month, with an additional $50,000 reserved for leading Chinese and Korean creators. Bantr also lets participants pledge rewards to their communities, deepening loyalty and turning audiences into active contributors. The first snapshot took place on September 6, with plenty of time still remaining to Bantr, build, and earn.
